Would You Rather Wednesday

I know you were all dying to know this, but The Nanny won out in last week's battle.

Moving along to this week- I know I have already done a WYRW post involving bugs, so forgive me if this is too similar and/or if it makes your skin crawl:

Would you rather...

be trapped in your car for a full hour with a wasp

OR

be trapped in your car for a full hour with a tarantula?

Things to consider:
- For purposes of the question, the car is an average-sized sedan. (So no, you cannot choose to be driving a stretch limo.)
- For both options, you cannot wear full protective gear that would prevent them from touching you. You also are not allowed to "shoo" them out of the car window.
- For both options, you can, however, kill the wasp/tarantula if you're able to catch it (and brave enough).

Anyone having a panic attack yet?

I'm tempted to choose death instead, but rather than copping out, I will choose wasp... because I would rather kill something by swatting it really hard (with an object) than have to smoosh something, I guess?

Wasp...100%. If I kill a wasp, I assume it wouldn't be super gross. But imagine squishing a tarantula...there would be guts and blood everywhere.

Tarantulas are pretty tame so bring it on. I could sit in the car with one for an hour and then release it. Easy peasy.
Guess this is what happens when you are raised with older brothers that bring home EVERYTHING that slithers! crawls! creeps? (RIP Paul....)
I actually just saw a tarantula a couple weeks ago scurrying across the highway. It's mating season!!

This is super hard. I need to find out whether tarantulas are poisonous or not. But I'm leaning toward the tarantula because I feel like I could more easily capture it (not kill, the squish would be unbearable) and keep it contained for the hour? Like under a jar or something. Ugh. I feel ill thinking about this.

I not as squeamish about bugs as the average gal. In fact I am the "bug killer" in my household because my husband can't stand them.
I would pick the giant hairy arachnid based solely on that I am allergic to wasps and I agree that they can be more easily contained.

WASP! A tarantula would freak me the crap out!

Definitely the wasp! I didn't even have to think about it.

Oh my geez! I'm not sure I could handle either of these. Is there a third option? If I literally had to pick or die, I guess I'm going with a tarantula because I feel like it would be slower, easier to monitor, and easier to kill if need be. But really, I may just die from the stress. I'm not sure my heart could take either.

I'm going with wasp. At least I would probably have the courage to smack it with my shoe if it landed on the window or something. A tarantula. . . not so much.

Seeing as I'm very allergic (carry and epi-pen allergic) to bees and wasps...I'll have to go with the tarantula on this one.

I got stung by a wasp last week and it swelled so bad I had to get a steroid shot. So I'd choose tarantula - they seem easy to out-'run' in the car, all I'd have to do is avoid it for 1 hour! (Obviously wouldn't kill it because I'm not cruel - jk, I just don't kill bugs large enough to make a crunching noise.)

I say tarantula. They don't move very fast so I think I could always keep an eye on its location and stay on the opposite side of the car.
