Would You Rather Wednesday

I'm glad you all appreciated last week's WYRW and that it was a little tougher for you to decide! I would totally choose to insult people and hope that people just thought I was joking... or just severely socially handicapped, but somehow still lovable?

Would you rather...

go one entire week without showering/bathing

OR

go one entire week without brushing your teeth?

Things to consider:
- For option 1, you can't use perfume/cologne to mask the smell. You can't wash your hair or face either.
- For option 2, you can't floss/use mouthwash/chew sugar free gum as a substitute.
- For option 1 and 2, you do have to go about your normal daily routine, including interacting and being in close proximity with other humans.

I know, I'm so strict, right?

I choose teeth brushing, because at least I could eat food throughout the day to help me forget how nasty my mouth was. I can hardly stand to go 1 day without washing my hair, or 12 hours without washing my face, so I just couldn't handle the shower option!

Showering! I could totally pull that off seeing is that I NEVER workout or anything of that nature. Hair would just be up in a pony tail every single day, which it pretty much is anyways, so I'd be good!

If I choose not showering....can I at least cake on lots of deodorant prior to my week? You know, like build a barrier? I am guessing not, seeing as your rules are hard core. So, in that case, I choose teeth. Bad breath is gross, but B.O. is even worse and can seriously burn your nose hair.

Man. Having bangs really screws me up for this one because there is no hiding those bad boys back in a pony. That means I have to pick the no-teeth-brushing by default, but I think it'll be okay because you can't stop me from swishing my water around my mouth before I swallow it. BOOM! And I think that eating some apples and stuff would probably work to rid me of the nastiest stuff, so...yeah. See ya, toothbrush!

hmmm, this one is also tough. I honestly feel like you've got to compensate for your weakness. For example, my husband sweats if he rinses out a glass or makes the bed, so the thought of him not showering for a week... dear God. But me, not so much. I think if I limited my activity, made sure to sleep with fans and moisture wicking fabrics, I could potentially pull this off with out too much trauma. I'd definitely need the use of a ponytail and bobby pins... oh and dry shampoo, that doesn't count right?!?!

I'd skip the showers. I'm thinking you wouldn't really start to smell until day 5 or so, which leaves you with just 2-3 days of other people thinking you're gross. I would feel disgusting on day 1 of no toothbrush and I'm pretty sure anyone around me would be grossed out by about day 2.

100% skip showers - no big deal! i've gone 5 days before (not a regular occurrence, ha!)

but i cannot EVER skip brushing my teeth - they feel awful if i do! if they don't feel as smooth and clean as the day you get them cleaned at the dentist every morning and every night, i can't stand it! and i wouldn't want bad breath for everyone else around me!

I pick the "teeth" option... I have no good reasons or rationale, I just like showering and I am pretty active so I think I would really start to smell.

I would skip teeth brushing. I could still drink water to rinse the nasty taste out of my mouth every morning, right?!?!

And I did skip showering for a week once because it was FREEZING COLD WITH NO HOT WATER where I was living and it just wasn't worth it.

See ya toothbrush. I simply cannot go a week without a shower. I have more hair on my head than is necessary for one person and bad, bad things happen when it isn't washed. I also have the oily skin of a teenager...also bad without some cleaning.
