The babies are here!

Yes, it's true- Colby and Clara made their debut on Friday, April 5th, at 11:25 am! As you can imagine, doubling our family size overnight has required a bit of adjusting, and I haven't quite gotten back into a new groove yet (shocking after just 4 days, right?), so I haven't had the chance to sit down and put together a quality blog post announcing their arrival.

BUT I didn't want to leave you hanging either, so I at least want to share with you my favorite picture taken of the two of them so far:

Clara is on the left, looking wide-eyed and a little surprised. Colby is on the right, smirking and looking pretty pleased with himself.

We are biased, of course, but we think they are pretty much perfect :) Anyway, will post more details soon. In the meantime, thanks for your patience!

Ha!! That smirk is pretty great. You'll have to keep your eye on that one (as opposed to ignoring him all the time, which is what I'm assuming you're currently doing...).

Precious babies! I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. NIV I Samuel 1:27. With that being said-- enjoy your babies and ignore the blog for a little while. We will all be here when you come back. Your babies are beautiful. Remember to rest when they rest and forget about what needs to be done, and if anyone volunteers to help out let them:)I am so happy for you. Know that you and your family are in our nightly prayers.

Whoo hoo! Such a great picture. And I'm impressed you managed to write anything on your blog already. I wasn't expecting to see a new post from you until June or so!

Your children are absolutely precious! I hope you're doing well-- right about the 9-10 day old mark was when I felt most exhausted and most overwhelmed. The adrenaline had worn off, my mom had gone home, Jordan had gone back to work, but I was nowhere NEAR figuring out how to do life with one baby (much less TWO!!!). Thinking of you! :)
